Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, likely with some Vizsla in her lineage, who will steal your heart with her soft eyes and sweet soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl who enjoys energetic romps with her canine companions, followed by quiet, cozy cuddle time. Toffee is already house and crate trained and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. She thrives in a predictable home environment where she feels secure. While the outside world initially made her a bit timid, she's made incredible progress with encouragement and patience, and she's growing to love new adventures.
Ideal Home
Toffee would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog who can show her the ropes. Her ideal family is patient and understanding, committed to continuing to build her confidence. A home with children aged 10 and older who are dog-savvy is preferred. Please note that Toffee is uncomfortable around small dogs and puppies, so a home without them is best. She also needs a home without infants or toddlers.
Ongoing Health
Toffee experiences some drooling during car rides, but she recovers quickly upon arrival at her destination.
Training & Support
Toffee is house and crate trained. She has worked hard to overcome her initial fear of car rides and now happily enters vehicles, understanding that the car signifies adventure. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will be key as she continues to build her confidence in new situations.
