Max - urgent foster or adopter

Max is an 8-year-old gentle giant with a mild-energy personality. He's overcome a lot in his life, from a neglectful situation to a past on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a loving family gave him a second chance, and he even successfully underwent heartworm treatment! Max has blossomed into a loyal and loving companion who is wonderful with people. Now, through no fault of his own, he's facing the possibility of losing his home and is in urgent need of a foster or adopter by July 1st. He's still playful and has plenty of pep in his step, proving that age is just a number. Max is happy as an only dog or with calm, submissive canine companions. If a home isn't found, he'll have to go into boarding, which would be devastating for a dog who has already experienced so much loss.

Max has successfully completed heartworm treatment. He is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
