Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are like little bat wings. She loves a good scratch! Grace has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. She was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her own forever home! Grace is already potty and crate trained, and she loves her crate, often taking naps in it voluntarily because it makes her feel safe. She happily sleeps in her crate every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is looking for a home that understands her needs and can see her worth. She is very strong and will require your full attention on walks, so no distractions like earbuds for the first few walks. While she lives with her foster parents, she has not been exposed to other children, adults, or pets. Grace notices changes in her environment and can experience distress when her routine is disrupted or when her favorite person travels. She has a difficult time initially meeting men, but with a proper introduction, she can overcome this.

Ongoing Health

Grace is a survivor and has shown signs of trauma from her past, which she is actively working through with the support of her fosters and Save-A-Bull.

Training & Support

Grace is working on "rolling over," "shaking hands," "down," and becoming more "zen" about squirrels on walks. Her adopters should be prepared to provide consistent training and positive reinforcement. Because she notices changes in her environment, a calm and predictable home will be most beneficial.
