Meet Woody! This precious pup is the runt of his litter and is as sweet, curious, and cuddly as can be. He’s recovering from surgery and is extra relaxed, but we suspect he’ll grow into a wonderfully chill companion. Woody is doing well with his potty training, using both belly bands and potty pads, and he’s happy to do his business when taken outside. He absolutely adores being held and snuggling up on the couch or your lap. Woody is truly a teenie, tiny lovebug looking for his forever family!
Woody is one of 16 dogs who journeyed from Tijuana, Mexico, to Oregon seeking a brighter future. They were cared for by a dedicated rescuer and, due to unforeseen health challenges, needed new homes. Our partners at the SPCA helped coordinate their rescue, and Street Dog Hero was honored to welcome them into our program. Now safe in Bend, Oregon, these deserving dogs are starting their new lives in loving foster homes where we are learning all about their unique personalities and needs. With the exception of Woody's litter, most of the dogs have met standard medical requirements, including wellness exams, spay/neuter, microchipping, and up-to-date vaccinations.
