Mason

Mason is a charming 6-month-old, 32-pound Miniature American Shepherd mix who came to us after spending his early puppyhood in a county shelter. He was understandably overwhelmed by new experiences like leashes and crates, often showing his nervousness with submissive urination. But Mason is a resilient pup! He's made incredible progress, happily crating for meals, settling in with other dogs, and even coming when called. His eagerness to learn and please is truly heartwarming.

Ideal Home

Mason would thrive in a home with someone experienced with young dogs or eager to continue his training. A confident, playful canine companion would be a wonderful addition to his life, as he draws reassurance from his bonded friend, Patty. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to safely expend his puppy energy. We recommend a cat-free home, as Mason enjoys a good chase!

Ongoing Health

Mason is fully vetted and up-to-date on all his medical needs, including monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Mason is crate-trained and house-trained. He's also proven trustworthy when left unsupervised for short periods. While he knows his name, he's also quite fond of "May May," "Maybe," and "Maybe Baby." He's still learning, but his eagerness to figure things out and make his people proud is a fantastic foundation.

Mason is located with his foster family. We adopt to multiple states and can arrange safe transport with trusted partners for out-of-state adopters.
