Hello there! I'm Drake, a friendly and happy-go-lucky guy who ended up at the shelter when my previous family could no longer keep me. I'm all checked out, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to find my forever home! My adoption fee has even been sponsored, so I'm extra excited to meet you. The medical team is helping me with some skin issues, and they can share more details if you're interested in making me part of your family. I'm sure to bring smiles and cuddles to your life!

Ideal Home

Drake is a sweet boy who loves to be around people and is eager to connect. He's done well with walking in busy areas and is generally calm. He enjoys relaxing on the couch and doesn't need long walks to be content. He's a big cuddle bug who loves affection and peanut butter! While he's great with people, he did not do well during encounters with other dogs during his Dog Day Out, so a home without other pets might be best. He can also get overly excited around splash pads and running hoses, so caution or avoidance is recommended in those situations.

Training & Support

Drake is a well-mannered boy who is house-trained and potty-trained. He has never jumped on furniture without permission and only rarely jumps on people. He responds well to treats and listens to commands. He can be overly excited to meet new people, especially in stimulating environments, but calms down with a little patience.
