Sprocket

Hi there! My name is Sprocket, and I'm a sweet and happy boy, about 1-2 years old and weighing around 63 lbs. I was found wandering on the road and brought to the shelter. My previous owner called looking for me but never came to claim me, so now I'm on the lookout for my forever family! I absolutely love a good game of fetch. I'll definitely let you know when it's playtime by nudging my toy into your leg. My favorite game is "no take, only throw!" though I'm also happy to drop it and let you throw it so I can chase it down. I really love to run and chase! I've gotten along well with the other dogs and cats here at the shelter, and I'm a very clean resident of my kennel. It looks like I'm already housebroken, too!

Ideal Home

I would love a family that's ready for lots of playtime and fun. I do tend to try and dart past people at doors, so some work on impulse control would be really beneficial for me.

Ongoing Health

I've received my heartworm test, parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, and a 3-day de-wormer. I will be spayed or neutered before adoption, unless a health issue prevents it.

Training & Support

I'll need a family that can help me with some basic training and manners. Working on impulse control, especially around doors, would be a big help.

• Our adoption fee is $152, which includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and Ohio dog license.

• We highly recommend our "foster to adopt" program, giving you a couple of weeks to ensure I'm the right fit for your family before finalizing the adoption.

Transportation

I am currently located at the shelter. Adoptions must be done in person at our facility, so you'll need to be willing to travel to adopt me.
