Meet Gizmo! This 4-year-old hound mix is equal parts lovebug and goofball. With a playful attitude and a heart full of affection, Gizmo is always ready to make new friends—whether they walk on two legs or four. He’s a social pup who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is quick to warm up to people. If you can offer a treat or a belly rub, you’ve got a friend for life in Gizmo! He’s looking for a loving home where he can share his joyful spirit and soak up all the pets and snacks he can get. We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. Our team of dedicated animal care professionals works day in and day out to help every dog in our program build confidence and learn new skills. From the moment they join us, we provide comprehensive medical and behavioral care to prepare them for adoption. This includes thorough vetting, behavior training, and social enrichment. We foster socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, where we also work on skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to connect with families who understand that rescue dogs thrive with continued training and patience, and who are excited to help them become the best companions they can be.

All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping, has been completed.
Training & Support
Gizmo is working on leash training and basic commands, and will benefit from continued training efforts in his new home.

Transporation
Gizmo is located in Angleton, TX. He can be transported to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our transport buses are equipped with air conditioning, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
