Maverick

Maverick is a 1-year-old Pitbull and American Bulldog mix with a striking black and white coat and a big, joyful personality. He's described as a happy, high-energy young dog who loves people and brings excitement wherever he goes! Maverick's owner wants to ensure he finds a home where he can safely thrive and get the activity and structure he needs, as his high energy level wasn't the right fit for a home with toddlers who have disabilities. He's very friendly, people-oriented, and great with children. Maverick gets very excited around visitors with jumping and happy whining, but he has no history of biting. He is potty trained, crate trained, and has lived with both dogs and children. Maverick also allows people to take food and toys without issue.

Ideal Home

Maverick would do best in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and continued training. His high energy level makes him not the best fit for a home with toddlers who have disabilities.

Ongoing Health

Maverick is up-to-date on vaccines and is not yet neutered. He has not been seen by a veterinarian.

Training & Support

Maverick is potty trained and crate trained. He gets very excited around visitors with jumping and happy whining, which his new family can help him manage with continued training and positive reinforcement. He is a sweet boy who just needs the right environment to match his energy and enthusiasm.
