Hi there! I'm Bandit, a special girl with a German Shepherd and Husky mix, and I'm looking for my forever family! I was born on July 21, 2025, and I weighed in at a strong 71 pounds when I was spayed and microchipped in early March. I'm a big girl with paws that are still growing into their full potential! I was a perfect patient during my procedures and happily took all my medicine, especially when it was hidden in tasty wet food.
I'm bursting with energy and excitement, just like most young shepherds! I dream of an active family who loves to play and explore the outdoors. My favorite activities include chasing balls, enjoying chew toys (though stuffed ones don't last long – I love making it snow with all the stuffing!), and playing with my doggy siblings. I've even made friends with a Great Dane, so I can definitely keep up with the big dogs!
When it comes to people, I'm a total sweetheart. I love to snuggle with my foster parents and shower them with kisses whenever I can. A good chest or belly rub will make me melt right into your lap! I'm also great with the foster grandkids, who are 4 and 8 years old. Sometimes I get a little too excited and accidentally knock them over, but I always apologize with lots of kisses.
Ideal Home
I'd love an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors, and I can keep up with the big dogs! I'm not sure how I'd do with a friendly feline, as the current outdoor cat prefers to keep her distance.
Ongoing Health
I was spayed and microchipped in early March. I am up-to-date on vaccines and preventions.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and use a doggy door. I am working on leash training and becoming more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and treats, I warm up quickly. I am not crate-trained yet.
