Rufus has the kindest eyes and a scruffy face that just melts your heart. This sweet 2-year-old, neutered Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix, weighing about 15 lbs, is a true companion. He's a little underweight now but is expected to reach a healthy 18-20 lbs. Rufus was found abandoned and left to fend for himself, but despite his tough start, he's incredibly sweet, trusting, and ready to shower his new family with love. He’s a devoted “Velcro dog” who thrives on being by your side, whether for couch cuddles, following you around the house, or snuggling in your lap. He's affectionate, gentle, and has a happy-go-lucky nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Training & Support
Rufus is crate trained and settles well. He occasionally exhibits gentle play-nibbling, which is common for young dogs. He's still working on house training, but this is expected to improve with a consistent routine and after being neutered.
