Burrito

Burrito is a sweet, adorable little mister who was rescued after being attacked by a large dog. His previous owners didn't seek veterinary care for him and planned to euthanize him, but a kind-hearted cat rescuer stepped in. He has lived at the cat rescue for almost a year, sharing his space with feline friends and a few resident dogs. Now, it's time for Burrito to find his forever home, where he can be pampered like the king he is! He is paralyzed from the waist down, but he navigates his world with impressive speed, often getting around like a furry blur. He has had a set of wheels in the past, which he seemed to dislike, but he was incredibly fast using them. Burrito's injury doesn't slow him down; he's not in pain and remains a happy, friendly guy.

Ideal Home

Burrito would do well in a home with cats and other dogs. He might also do well with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. He's adaptable and would enjoy being an adventure partner or snuggling up for a quiet night in.

Ongoing Health

Burrito is paralyzed from the waist down. He is not in pain and is otherwise healthy. We are exploring options for mobility assistance, such as a set of wheels.

Training & Support

Burrito is a friendly and happy dog who doesn't let his mobility challenges hold him back. He's great with other animals and seems to be well-adjusted.
