Panda is a shy but sweet two-year-old, 50-pound Pittie mix with a mellow nature, named for his black and white coat. He loves toys, chew bones, and daily walks, and thrives on routine. Panda is a rescue dog who will reward you with deep, unconditional love and gratitude. He's great with other dogs, especially playful females, and draws confidence from them. In fact, he seems to need a canine companion, so he'll do best in a home with multiple dogs. Panda was previously fostered in a home with children aged five and up and did well with them, so he could live with respectful, sweet children. He enjoys snuggling, loves the couch, and is kennel and house-trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with another dog but not with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue dog and will need time to decompress in his new home.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life with humans and a stable home. Patience is key to winning his heart, along with Nyla bones and walks. He is great on leash and a seasoned professional passenger in the car. Our behavior team and his foster mom will be available to provide guidance during his decompression period.
