Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This sweet 40lb Cattle Dog mix, estimated to be born around May 6, 2022, has a heart of gold and a story of resilience. Delta Dawn arrived in our care pregnant and found herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. We stepped in and provided a safe foster home for her to welcome her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her little ones succumbed to puppy fading syndrome, a heartbreaking loss for everyone.

Delta Dawn has the softest fur and a loving disposition that makes you want to shower her with affection. Cuddles are her favorite, and she even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, not minding baths one bit! She loves to explore the aisles, sniffing all the interesting scents.

Ideal Home

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will give her all the belly rubs and show her what it's like to be a cherished dog. She's a spunky, loving companion and adventure partner ready to be your best friend.

Ongoing Health

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

We are working on leash training, as Delta Dawn is eager to explore the world! She's a fast learner and loves to please her humans. She has recently learned to play fetch and loves balls, though we're still working on her bringing them back. She is kennel and potty trained.
