Hello! My name is Buddy, and I'm hoping my forever family is reading this. I am five years old and I am a slim/trim 12 pounds of pure Silky Terrier joy. My foster mom said I would have been a great show dog as I am ever so handsome!

I've spent my early years surrounded by love, learning what it means to trust, play, and enjoy life with my original owner. Sadly, he is now an angel! He helped me learn that toys are fun, treats are wonderful, and nothing beats curling up beside someone who loves me. Now I'm ready for the next chapter of my story—a family to call my very own.

Ideal Home

I would do best being the only dog, as I can be possessive about my toys and my food. I am looking for a home where I'll be included in everyday life, where my wagging tail will greet you after a long day, and where I'll be your faithful companion through life's adventures. Whether we're taking walks, riding in the car, relaxing on the couch, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, I'll be happiest just being by your side or sitting on your lap. I love to sleep in a chair near you when you go to bed.
