Meet Muppet! If you've been looking for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and full-time best friend, Muppet might just be your guy!
At approximately 1 year old and 60 pounds, Muppet is a handsome black and brown pup who may be an Australian Kelpie or Doberman mix. Whatever his breed mix is, one thing is certain he's packed full of personality, affection, and enthusiasm for life!
Muppet is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything you're doing. Curious doesn't even begin to describe him! Whether you're vacuuming, working in the yard, going for a walk, or just relaxing at home, Muppet wants to be right there with you. If he had his way, he'd spend 24/7 with his favorite people.
This goofy boy is still very much a puppy at heart. He's affectionate, loves giving kisses, and thinks he's a lap dog despite his size. He's also a bit of a lovable goofball who is still learning his manners. Muppet can get excited, jump up for attention, and occasionally use those big paws to say hello, so he'd do best with a family committed to continuing his training.
Muppet enjoys an active lifestyle and would thrive with a family that can provide regular walks, hikes, playtime, and mental enrichment. He loves to play in the water and may even excel in agility or other dog sports once he learns to focus his energy. After all, an active mind is just as important as active paws!
Muppet absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy having a playful canine companion, especially one close to his size. He's social, playful, and takes corrections from other dogs well. While he can be a little rambunctious, he's a gentle soul who backs down rather than escalating conflict. He currently lives successfully with a cat and does well with dog-savvy felines.
Ideal Home
Muppet would thrive in an active home that can provide regular walks, hikes, playtime, and mental enrichment. He would also do well with a playful canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Muppet is a young, healthy dog.
Training & Support
Muppet can get excited, jump up for attention, and occasionally use his paws to greet people, so he'd do best with a family committed to continuing his training. Like many young dogs, he can be mischievous if left unattended and still has a tendency to chew things he shouldn't, so supervision and appropriate chew toys are important.
