Zena is a beautiful 10-year-old German Shepherd ready to find a stable, loving home where she can truly enjoy her golden years. Earlier in life, Zena didn't have the consistency she needed in training, socialization, and routine care. Because of that, she developed a few behavioral quirks, but with structure, patience, and guidance, she has made wonderful progress and continues to improve every day. She is currently in a structured training and boarding environment where she practices her manners daily. Zena does well with staff, enjoys engagement, and has learned how to interact appropriately with other dogs in a controlled setting. Zena can still be a little unsure or awkward in new situations, but with a calm and confident handler, she settles in and continues to blossom. Zena is ready to give her heart to someone who will offer her the stability and love she has always deserved. In return, she'll be a loyal, devoted companion through her golden years.

Zena thrives with routine, consistency, and clear leadership. An active but balanced home would be ideal to keep her both mentally and physically fulfilled. She has been around children and does well, but is best with kids 10+. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.
