Meet Cleo, a beautiful Australian Shepherd mix with a tail! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home. She was found as a stray and, after multiple unsuccessful attempts to locate her owner, she joined our family and was spayed. Based on her condition and behavior, we estimate she is under 3 years old.

As you would expect from a herding breed, Cleo is intelligent, energetic, and full of enthusiasm for life. She loves toys, playing fetch, running in the yard, splashing in water, going for walks or runs, and playing with other dogs. She also enjoys enrichment activities involving licking and chewing, so puzzle toys and chews are great ways to keep her busy mind engaged.

Ideal Home

Cleo is dog-friendly and would love a canine playmate or trips to the dog park. She is okay around cats, though her herding instincts do kick in and she may try to herd or chase them. She has never shown intentional aggression toward cats, but she would likely thrive best in a home without them. She would do best with an active individual or family that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation.

Ongoing Health

Cleo has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cleo already knows several commands, including sit, down, and paw, and is currently learning recall, leave it, wait, and not jumping up. She is highly food motivated, eager to please, and a very quick learner, making training both fun and rewarding.
