Rusty enjoys quiet time and prefers to explore the world at his own pace.

Rusty thrives in a calm and stable environment. He is not a cuddly dog and prefers his independence, so a home where he is not frequently picked up would be ideal. He also does not enjoy being handled by children.

Rusty is in generally good health for his age. He does have arthritis, is both blind and deaf, and may have some neurological issues.
