Misty

Meet Misty, a sweet, approximately 4-year-old, 10kg (~22lb) Cocker Spaniel who is ready to find her forever home. Misty had a tough start in life, coming from a puppy mill, but she's a resilient girl looking for a brighter future filled with gentle affection and quiet comfort. She's a sensitive soul who is learning that people can be safe and kind, and she blossoms with patience and understanding. Misty loves to spend time outdoors, basking in the sun and exploring her surroundings. She also enjoys gentle playtime with other dogs and walks in peaceful natural settings.

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in an adult-only home in a quiet, rural or small-town setting where she can decompress at her own pace. Busy environments can be overwhelming for her. A securely fenced yard is a must, as she loves to sniff, sunbathe, and play outdoors. If you have a resident dog, a meet-and-greet will be required to ensure they're a good match.

Ongoing Health

Misty is currently being treated for an ear infection and will require ongoing ear care.

Training & Support

Misty is doing well with housetraining and generally maintains it when her routine is consistent. She settles nicely when left alone and travels well in the car. As a puppy mill survivor, she will benefit from a patient adopter who can provide structure and ongoing support as she continues to learn about living in a home and building trust.
