Meet Liv Livie, a delightful and energetic "mystery mix" who's estimated to be around 1 to 2 years old. With her charmingly short legs, long body, floppy ears, and perpetually smiling face, Liv is a true joy to behold. She embodies happiness, playfulness, and an abundance of cuddles, all wrapped up in one adorable package. Liv's foster family describes her as a total lap dog who thrives on affection and loves being held like a baby. She's a social butterfly who gets along famously with dogs of all shapes and sizes, often following them around like a tiny, adoring shadow and inviting them to play with adorable play bows. Liv is also a bright spark, quickly mastering crate training and potty training, and she knows how to use a doggy door. Her favorite hobbies include playing with toys, especially balls, and she has a particular fondness for chasing water from a hose in the yard. Liv is looking for a family who will give her a little time to settle in and reveal her full, affectionate, playful, and loyal personality.
Ideal Home
Liv would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run, play fetch, sunbathe, and enjoy outdoor adventures. While she has adapted well to leash walking, she could potentially adjust to apartment living in the right environment. Liv has shown good behavior around other dogs of all sizes and was respectful and cautious around a cat. We recommend an overnight cat test for homes with resident cats to ensure a smooth transition, as she was a little unsure during her initial meeting.
Ongoing Health
Liv is a healthy dog who has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Liv is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. She is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved, and enjoys engaging with new experiences.

Liv is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel for all pets. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
