Once you become his person, he is devoted in the truest, deepest way. Day after day, Hamlet has watched his friends head off to new homes while he waits quietly for someone to notice him. Not just glance his way, but truly see him for the gentle, loving dog he is. He does wonderfully with other dogs and feels most confident when he has kind, steady people around him. When he opens up, he becomes incredibly affectionate, the type of companion who stays close and finds comfort simply being by your side. He knows how to sit beautifully, loves treats, and is eager to learn when he feels safe. Hamlet does not need the whole world. He just needs one person willing to give him a chance, someone who will let him bloom at his own pace and appreciate the loyalty he offers so freely.
