Riggs

Riggs is a nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a large hoarding case. While the dogs were cared for, Riggs is still learning the ropes of everyday life and socialization. He's a sweet, gentle, and shy boy who prefers a calm environment and a little time to observe before engaging. Riggs gets along well with other dogs and cats, and would thrive with a confident canine sibling to show him the way. A securely fenced yard is a must for Riggs, as he's still a bit skittish around loud noises and sudden commotion. He'd do best in a home with children over 10 who can offer a calm and respectful presence. Riggs loves treats, doggy friends, kind humans, and a consistently comfortable indoor temperature. He'd prefer to skip noisy holidays like the Fourth of July and would appreciate his new family planning accordingly. He's seeking a laid-back home with a dog buddy, a fenced yard, and people who understand that shy dogs flourish with structure, kindness, and patience.
