Athena is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. She loves walks, keeping an eye out for rabbits and squirrels, but she's just as happy soaking up the sun, carrying around her favorite elephant toy, or napping near her people. This smart girl thrives on routine and is eager to learn. She already knows "sit," is working on "fetch" (mainly for peanut butter rewards), and gets adorably excited for meals, outdoor time, and all the little moments in between. Ice chips, chicken treats, belly rubs, and window watching rank high on her list of favorite things. Athena is athletic, affectionate, and deeply connected to her humans. She loves hard and stays close, offering comfort in ways that make her feel truly special. - Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
- MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
- Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-serve basis; our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals in our care.
Transporation
Athena is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
