Corky

Corky is a charming 4-year-old neutered male Pit Bull mix with a tail that curls like a corkscrew, just like his name suggests! He was part of a litter abandoned in North East Texas, but was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, he found himself back with his foster. Corky is a smart and loving boy who enjoys walks and will work for treats. He was favored by his former "daddy" and has now fully embraced his foster mom as his favorite person, showing his true lovebug nature.

Ideal Home

Corky would thrive in a home where he can be the only dog, as he is very reactive to other animals and doesn't play well with them (except for his sister, who he previously lived with). He would also do best in a home without small children. A fenced yard would be a great asset for Corky to safely enjoy his time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Corky is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Corky is a smart boy who enjoys learning and responds well to treats. While he's house-trained, he can be a bit of a project when it comes to leash manners. He's not a fan of dog parks and would prefer not to interact with other dogs. He has never shown aggression towards humans and is a delight to be around when he's the star of the show.
