Meet Tracy Tootsie, a charming Staffordshire & Border Terrier mix who joined us around March 31, 2019. This 45 lb bundle of joy is eager to bring smiles to your face every single day! Tracy has truly captured the hearts of her foster family with her sweet disposition and excellent manners. She already masters basic commands, walks like a dream on her leash, and her excitement when you call her name is simply infectious. She'll offer a delightful little "yap" in response, as if she's having a full conversation – it's impossible not to fall for her!
Tracy thrives on companionship and loves to engage in playtime in the yard, enjoy leisurely walks, and be a part of your daily routines. Her unique ears, with one standing at attention while the other flops down when she's listening intently, are an absolute delight to behold. She's the perfect companion for neighborhood strolls, cozy evenings, exciting weekend adventures, or simply following you around the house – her greatest joy is simply being near you. Now that Tracy is safe and loved, she's ready for the one thing missing in her happy story: a forever family to call her own.

Tracy would love a home where she can be your devoted companion. She prefers to be the only furry friend in the household, as she's a bit selective with other dogs.

Tracy is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, is microchipped, and has been spayed. She is also kennel and potty trained.
Training & Support
Tracy has a great foundation with basic commands and leash manners. She's eager to please and will likely pick up new training quickly.

Transportation
Tracy is currently located in Houston, Texas. We offer transport services, which are included in the adoption fee, to various locations. Ground transport options are available weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You'll be able to track the transport vehicle using the Life360 app and receive updates along the way.
