My name is Ginger and it is fitting in many ways. I have beautiful, soft, gingery fur and I'm a little ginger spicy! I'm an active puppy who is still learning my manners and always testing the bounds of right versus wrong. My favorite pastimes are playing fetch, wrestling with my Dachshund friend, and trying to catch that pesky water hose stream. I love to play with other dogs and would fare best with ones who are tolerant and accepting of my energy. I'm also a super snuggler in between zoom sessions, so kids would be fine too. I even grew up around cats and chickens, but I like to bark and pounce at them to play, play, play! Continued positive reinforcement and redirection should help keep my herding instincts at bay with small animals.

Ideal Home

A home with tolerant and energetic doggy friends would be wonderful. I also enjoy the company of children.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I am doing well with house training and usually only have accidents overnight due to my small puppy bladder.

Training & Support

I am a very smart and food-motivated girl, so I learn quickly! My foster mom is working on some fun tricks with me. I have mastered crate training and am doing well with house training. Continued positive reinforcement and redirection will be key to helping me manage my energy and playfulness around smaller animals.
