Hi there, I’m River! I’m a two-year-old pit bull/Australian Shepherd mix with a soft heart and teddy bear vibes. I weigh about 37 pounds, and I’m the kind of guy who lets kids dress me in hoodies just for fun. I’m gentle, sweet, and always up for a cuddle! I love to play, especially with rope toys and balls, and my personal favorite is enjoying Beggin Strips! I get along great with kids and other dogs, and I don’t show any food or resource guarding.

I get along great with kids and dogs! I haven't been tested with cats, but I can be if you'd like.

I will be neutered and fully vaccinated before my adoption.

Training & Support

I’m crate trained and do well on a leash, but I’m still working on potty training. My brother was potty trained in two weeks, and since I’m beyond puppy age, I’m hopeful I’ll train that fast too! My manners are pretty good, except I do jump up when I’m excited, but a quick correction and I settle right down.
