Meet Colt, a sweet, goofy, playful 12-week-old Lab mix puppy who is ready to find a loving home. Though he has scarring down the middle of his back, Colt is so much more than his scars. He follows his people everywhere, is food-motivated, and loves playing with other dogs.

Colt is affectionate, clumsy, and full of typical puppy energy. He is a little on the skinny side and will likely grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog. He deserves a family ready to help him grow, learn, and feel cherished.

Ideal Home

Colt would do well with a loving family prepared for the training, patience, and commitment that come with raising a Lab mix puppy. He plays wonderfully with other dogs, and the rescue believes he could do well with children.

Ongoing Health

Colt has scarring down the middle of his back. The cause is unknown and may have been abuse or a reaction to flea medication given when he was too young. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchipping, and vaccinations.

Training & Support

Potty training is still a work in progress, but Colt has learned how to use a doggie door. He is growing, learning, and doing his best.
