About Tom

Tom is an outgoing and friendly Rottweiler who is over 2 years old and ready for his new home. He listens very well, knows his basic commands, and is house and crate trained. Tom also rides well in the car and doesn't mind baths or grooming. He has a world-class pedigree, with both parents imported from Germany.

Ideal Home

Tom would do well in most homes, but we would prefer he not go to a home with younger children. While he was raised around children and bonded with one of the daughters in his previous home, an incident occurred where he nipped the leg of a 4-year-old niece. Though everything was okay, his previous owner felt it was best for Tom to find a new home where such a situation might be avoided.

Ongoing Health

Tom had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right leg, which has since healed completely. He will receive all necessary vaccinations and deworming, as well as a vet check, before going to his new home.

Training & Support

Tom knows his basic commands and is house and crate trained. He enjoys running and playing.
