Tux is a strikingly handsome black and white boy whose story almost ended before it truly began. When he found himself facing euthanasia, the veterinary team felt he was far too special to lose. They gave him a second chance, and Tux has spent every day since proving them right! This sweet, affectionate boy is the complete package. Tux loves lounging with his foster mom, playing with his favorite swinging rope toy, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He is a world-class cuddle bug who happily sleeps with his foster and believes kisses are one of life's greatest gifts. If you're looking for a dog who loves to give and receive affection, Tux is your guy! When Tux gets the zoomies, his foster mom says it's worthy of a spot on America's Funniest Home Videos. His goofy personality and silly, playful manner are guaranteed to keep you smiling. Tux is great on leash and has already learned impressive off-leash manners, choosing to stay close by his foster's side. He would make an excellent companion for hiking, walking, exploring trails, camping adventures, or simply relaxing on the deck while the family enjoys a backyard cookout. His foster works at a veterinary clinic and grooming shop, so Tux has had plenty of opportunities to show what a good boy he is. He rides wonderfully in the car, does not mind baths, is comfortable in a crate, and is doing very well with house training. Most of all, Tux is simply a happy boy looking for a family to love. He has a heart full of gratitude, a playful spirit, and endless affection to share. After receiving the second chance he deserved, Tux is ready for his forever home.

Ongoing Health

Tux is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, and fully vetted. He will have a complete examination by his veterinarian to obtain a health certificate to travel.

Training & Support

Tux has already learned impressive off-leash manners and is doing very well with house training. He rides well in the car, doesn't mind baths, and is comfortable in a crate.
