Meet Venus! This beautiful 5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs, is as sweet as can be. Venus is a calm, affectionate girl who loves to lean in for gentle head rests and gaze at her people with adoration. She's happy to match your energy, whether that means lounging on the couch or joining you for an outdoor adventure.
Venus enjoys playtime with other dogs and is known for her energetic backyard zoomies. She also has a blast with toys and truly shines when playing with her humans. If there's water involved, Venus is in her element – she’ll happily splash in a kiddie pool or a stream on a hike. She's also a fantastic car rider, making her the perfect companion for road trips and outings to the park or trails.
Ideal Home
Venus would do best in a home without cats, as she shows a strong interest in chasing them. While she hasn't met young children, her foster believes she could do well with older, respectful kids who will include her in family activities.

Venus is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Venus is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted loose in the house. She's learning better leash manners, as she can pull sometimes, but she is very food-motivated and learns quickly. She eats enthusiastically and does best with a slow feeder to prevent her from sneaking other dogs' food.
