Meet Red, our longest resident and a true ray of sunshine! This smiley, 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic and affectionate boy with a zest for life. Red, along with 15 other dogs, was rescued from a rural Florida shelter devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. After 1.5 years in our care, he's still patiently waiting for his forever home! He's been a joy to have around, loving playtime in the yard, zooming with staff, and snuggling with volunteers and his favorite people. Red is fully housetrained and a pro at doggy day outs and fostering! He's a ladies' man who prefers the company of female dogs and people, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. To help him find his perfect match, Red's adoption fee has been WAIVED! He's an easygoing, lovable goofball who promises a lifetime of love. Transportation

We are located in South Carolina and provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
