Kane 3015

Kane is a handsome 6-year-old Doberman gentleman who recently came back to us after more than two years with his adopter, who sadly had to enter hospice care. He loves going for walks, playing in the pool, and he gets along great with other dogs. Kane is smart, eager to please, and will make a loyal, loving companion with the right home. He walks beautifully on leash—and during a walk with one of our volunteers, he didn’t even chase a possum that crossed his path. He is very clean in the house and in his kennel and not destructive in any way. He is a calm boy who likes to relax but has spurts of energy and is definitely treat motivated. Kane craves affection, loves going for long walks, and is extremely gentle with other dogs. He would do very well with a female in the house. He is good with other dogs, but very shy and unsure with people.

Ideal Home

Kane would do best in an adults-only home with a Doberman-savvy owner, or with an adopter who understands guardian breeds. He would do best with an experienced Doberman owner who understands the breed and their quirks.

Kane is currently in foster care.

Training & Support

Kane is still being evaluated and will need an experienced foster or owner. More updates soon. He is treat motivated.
