Meet Indy! This beautiful 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, weighing 92 pounds, is searching for her forever family. Indy, along with her 11 puppies, was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in California where they were at risk of euthanasia. She was a wonderful mother, and now that her puppies have all found loving homes, it's her turn for some happiness!
Unlike many Belgian Malinois, Indy isn't your typical high-drive dog. While she loves outdoor activities and playtime, she also enjoys a good nap. Her favorite things include lounging on her dog bed with a chew bone or cuddling with her humans after a fun play session or walk.
Indy currently lives with four other dogs and gets along wonderfully with them. She has a special bond with a 50-pound Bull Terrier, and they have a blast playing together in the yard. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also content to relax indoors. She walks nicely on a leash, travels well in the car, is comfortable being left alone, and is a trooper at vet visits. Indy has a naturally friendly and stable temperament and is currently working on her basic obedience skills.
Ideal Home
Indy would be happiest with a family that desires an affectionate companion and is dedicated to continuing her training and providing regular exercise. She thrives on adventure but is just as happy relaxing at home with her loved ones.
Ongoing Health
Indy is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
Training & Support
Indy is working on her basic obedience commands. Consistency and continued training will help her thrive.
