Meet Chestnut!

Chestnut is an 11-month-old male terrier mix who arrived from Texas. He's a curious, energetic, smart, and lovable pup who enjoys couch cuddles, backyard zoomies, and games of fetch and tug-of-war. Chestnut is friendly and loves meeting new people and dogs. He has done well with small children and would be happy as the sole furry friend in a home or with other pets, as he enjoys playing with other dogs.

Chestnut would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of time and attention.

Ongoing Health

Chestnut is up-to-date on all age-appropriate core vaccinations, has been fecal tested, dewormed, and received flea and tick preventative. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age-appropriate at participating vets, as well as a first vet visit at one of their participating vets.

Training & Support

Chestnut is a quick learner and knows commands such as "Sit," "No," "Wait," and "Down." He is fully potty trained with frequent outdoor breaks and is also crate trained, sleeping peacefully through the night in his crate and napping comfortably in it with a soft blanket. He does get excited easily and may jump, but this is due to his playful nature and he will settle with attention.
