Teddy is a charming 3-year-old Doodles who, along with his bonded brother Andy, is looking for a loving forever home. Despite a difficult past where they were left chained outside for a year, Teddy and Andy have blossomed into surprisingly affectionate and docile dogs. They thrive on attention and activity and have shown no signs of aggression. These boys are a package deal and must be adopted together, as they find comfort and security in each other's company, which will undoubtedly help them adjust to a new environment.
Ideal Home
Teddy and Andy would do best in an active home with a fenced-in yard where they can safely run and play. They have done well with children aged 12 and older and would likely be comfortable with teenagers. While they have shown to be okay with other social dogs, a meet-and-greet would be recommended. They are not fond of confined spaces and have only had minimal issues when left alone in the house. A family that can provide them with ample home time and allow them to settle in slowly will be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Teddy and Andy have been groomed, examined, vaccinated, started on prescription flea and tick and heartworm preventative, 4dx tested, and neutered.
Training & Support
Teddy and Andy respond well to commands like "no," "down," and "come" with encouragement. They can get into trash or slippers if not stored away, so keeping these items out of reach is advised. They are motivated by treats and will need to be fed separately to ensure Teddy doesn't gobble up all the food. Regular grooming every 6-8 weeks is recommended.
