Hi there! My name is Brutus Beau Beauford the Third, and I am 105 lbs of pure love! Don't let my size and breed fool you; I am the gentlest, sweetest soul. I absolutely love being outside, going on long walks, and even running! My foster mom says I'm amazing at keeping pace without pulling, so if you enjoy hiking or adventuring, I'd be a great addition to your family. I enjoy people of all ages, especially females.
One of my favorite indoor activities is to grab a slipper or anything within reach, not to eat, but to show off and play keep away. After a few minutes and some calm reassurance, I'll easily give it back. I absolutely love belly rubs, chest rubs, thigh scratches, and just sitting next to you while you hug me. I expect belly rubs and a thousand smooches in the morning, and I'll happily nudge your cheek if I need more.
While I like other friendly dogs and enjoy meeting pups, I would probably be best as the only dog in the home to avoid any potential for awkwardness. I enjoy playing ball and looking out the window. I'm also the best emotional support and bathroom buddy you could ever find. My foster mom wishes she could keep me, but she lives in an apartment and wants me to have a yard. She's happy to help with pet-sitting anytime!

Training & Support
I enjoy playing keep away with slippers and other items, but I don't destroy them and will return them to my kennel. I may try to counter surf, but a simple "No" stops me. I have tried to eat used tissues and kleenex, so keeping those out of reach is important. I also can open and try to drink from the toilet. Avoid rawhide and nylon bones, as they can be hard on my mouth. I am learning to take treats gently when told "gentle" beforehand. I initially drink a lot of water.
