Amelia

Amelia is a sweet senior lady with a calm, loving spirit and a heart full of quiet loyalty. Though her face may be a little gray, her eyes are bright, and her trot is steady. She would make a great work-from-home partner or study buddy and is the perfect mix of laid-back and ready-for-adventure. Amelia has done great meeting other dogs at adoption events and public spaces. She previously lived with two other dogs and is happiest with regular dog and/or human companionship.

Ideal Home

Amelia is looking for a home that appreciates the love and ease a senior dog brings. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, loyal companion to enjoy walks, quiet evenings, and simple joys, Amelia might be the perfect fit. She's ready to love and be loved. Although Amelia previously lived with several cats, she's not up for new feline friends at this stage in her life.

Ongoing Health

Amelia has been fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is careful getting out of cars, possibly due to mild arthritis.

Training & Support

Amelia is great on walks, doesn't pull, and responds gently to light leash pressure. She is an easy eater and a polite treat-taker, often sitting attentively while waiting. She is also car ride ready and easy-going, not overreacting to other dogs or new people. She is happiest with regular dog and/or human companionship.
