Spike here! I know my name sounds tough, but I'm really just a big goofball who's incredibly grateful to be alive. I'm smart, silly, playful, and happy, and I'm dreaming of a family to call my own. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and have been enjoying my time here, getting my heartworm treatment and making friends, but now it's time for me to find my forever home!

Ideal Home

I'm a dominant boy, so I'd do best as the only dog or with a submissive canine friend. As a Husky, I'm very active and need a family who understands the breed's needs. We Huskies are known escape artists and we shed a lot, so a knowledgeable owner is key! I'd love to escape the Texas heat and find a cooler climate.

Ongoing Health

I've completed my heartworm treatment and am feeling great!

Training & Support

I'm still working on house training, but I'm eager to learn. As a Husky, I need an active lifestyle and owners who can manage my energy and shedding.

• Local adoption fee (in TX) is $200.
• Out-of-state adoption fee is $400, which includes transport to your area. A $50 temporary fuel fee will be included.

Transporation

I'm currently in Texas but can be transported to Minnesota. Transport to other areas is available for out-of-state adoptions.
