AJ

AJ was a shy puppy when he first arrived, but with a little patience and kindness, he blossomed into a loving and friendly companion! He can be a bit cautious with new people, but once he knows you're a friend, his sweet and affectionate side shines through. While he might seem a bit territorial when he's in his outdoor pen, AJ is truly a love bug in disguise, eager to share his affection with his special human.

Ideal Home

AJ would thrive in a home with someone patient and kind who can continue to build his confidence. Because it's unknown if he's housetrained, a home that can accommodate this learning process is ideal. His current living situation doesn't allow him to be inside the house, and it's unknown how he would do with other dogs, cats, or children.

Ongoing Health

AJ has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines, including rabies. He previously tested positive for heartworms but has completed a modified treatment. He is currently on monthly heartworm prevention and flea medication.

Training & Support

AJ is a very smart boy who adores treats, making him a great candidate for continued training. He would benefit greatly from someone who can provide him with consistent training, care, and the loving environment he deserves.
