He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his playful and sweet personality truly shines through. Raffi is a dog who will likely always be on the cautious side, especially with new people. He has a definite preference for women and can be fearful of men, often responding with barking. He'll need a patient and understanding adopter who can help him work through his anxiety and build confidence. Raffi is a loyal companion who simply needs someone to commit to him for life. Because of his fear of men, his adoption fee is reduced to only cover the airline charge for his flight and crate.

Raffi would do best in a home where he can feel safe and secure. He prefers women and is fearful of men. He would also do best in a cooler climate, as his dark coat can get hot.

Transporation
Raffi is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange for transportation to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, transportation to Canada may involve meeting at the Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable.
