Hi, my name is Dexter! I'm a charming and spirited nine-year-old Maltese-poodle mix with a heart full of joy and a zest for life. Despite being born with a neurological disorder that affects my balance and walking, I don't let it slow me down one bit! I'm a clever boy and have been fitted with a special set of wheels that help me get around like a pro. Even without them, I can still scoot around the yard and keep up with my foster brother. My mobility might be a little different, but I'm still a happy, healthy, and loving dog. I'm fully housebroken and just need a little help getting outside a few times a day. I'm also a big fan of my "Dexter Den," a safe and comfy space where I can relax and play. I'm a very normal, healthy dog who is full of life, and I know how to charm everyone I meet! I don't need a lot of fuss, but I do need a special person who can provide me with the extra care and attention I deserve.

Ideal Home

I need a special person who can help me get outside a few times a day as I cannot get to the yard on my own. It's also important for my safety that I'm not left alone outside. My ideal human will also ensure my home is safe, free from hazards that could harm me if I were to bump into them.

Ongoing Health

I was born with a neurological disorder that affects my equilibrium and my ability to walk. I have been fitted with doggie wheels to assist me.

Training & Support

I am fully housebroken. I enjoy my "Dexter Den" when my foster mom needs to leave the house.
