Hi, my name is Milo! I'm a 6-ish year-old, 60-pound Shepherd Hound mix with a whole lot of love and goofball energy to share. I'm already housetrained and ready to show you just how awesome I am! My favorite activities include playing, going for walks, and hitting the hiking trails, especially with my favorite humans and my doggy friends. I have excellent recall when off-leash and love to embark on new adventures. I'm looking for a human who enjoys them just as much as I do! While I'm generally great with other dogs, I can get a little nervous on leash around them, but I'm working on it. I absolutely love doggy daycare and playing with my pals, and I'm also trained on an invisible fence. I've participated in several training classes, and I've learned to be patient while my humans get my leash, sit and shake for treats, and come when called. I'm not a fan of cats, so I'd prefer a home without them. I enjoy "talking" to my people and sometimes groan with contentment. I'm up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and see the vet regularly. I truly am a best friend kind of pup, eager to learn and motivated by treats!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for an active home with people who will take me on adventures. I would love to have another dog to play with, or at least friends with dogs for playdates. I'd prefer to live in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
I am up to date with my vaccinations, neutered, and see the vet regularly for check-ups.
Training & Support
I'm working on leash reactivity with other dogs. I enjoy training sessions, especially when treats are involved!
