Gravy

Gravy is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. This gentle soul only wants to be loved and know that he is safe. He is a lab/black mouth cur mix weighing around 50 pounds. Gravy was found Thanksgiving morning tied to the entry gate of the shelter, hidden in the bushes. His teeth have been ground down and he has a piece of his tongue missing, suggesting he may have been used as a bait dog. He had severe allergies and was scheduled for euthanasia. Gravy did very well in short foster home stays to help with his anxiety.

Ideal Home

Gravy is good with both dogs and cats and loves kids. He is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and travels well in a car.

Ongoing Health

Gravy has food allergies and is currently eating Purina One lamb and rice for sensitive skin. He will need dental work in the future, which will be covered by Wags. Gravy is heartworm positive and has a heart murmur due to lack of heartworm preventative. He has started his heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by Wags, and is on Simparica trio.

Training & Support

Gravy's anxiety is now nonexistent. He lives for snuggles, kisses on his forehead, and bedtime treats!
