Keiko

Keiko is a sweet, confident, and playful senior German Shepherd with a heart the size of her stuffed gator - which, by the way, she never goes to bed without! Whether she’s snuggling up for the night or enjoying a relaxing afternoon, her favorite plush buddy is always close by. This lovely lady may be in her golden years, but don’t let that fool you! Keiko still has plenty of pep in her step and loves a good game, a fun toy, or a cozy round of pets from her favorite people. She's loyal to the core, and once you're in her circle, you've got a best friend for life. Keiko also has a strong independent streak. She adores her humans, but she’s not interested in sharing her home with other dogs. Keiko wants to be the one and only, and honestly, once you meet her, you’ll see she’s all you need! Because Keiko prefers not to share her space with other dogs, she would also not be a good fit for dog parks or other off-leash dog social settings. If you're looking for a loving, smart, and spirited companion who still knows how to have fun and cuddle up at the end of the day, Keiko might just be your perfect match! Ideal Home

Keiko would do best in a home with children age 10 and up who can respect her space and energy. She is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, as she prefers not to share her space with other dogs and would not be a good fit for dog parks or other off-leash dog social settings.
