Hugo

Hugo is a silly boy who loves to roll around on the grass and show off his belly! He's not opposed to some belly rubs if you're offering, and he's very affectionate and sweet with his shelter humans. When meeting new people, he's full of wiggles and tail wags. Hugo already knows some commands like "sit," "down," and "shake," and he enjoys his daily walks around the shelter, where he loves to sniff and take in the sights.

Ideal Home

Hugo will need a very slow introduction and a patient, experienced owner if he is to have dog siblings. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. We don't know how he would do with children.

Ongoing Health

Hugo is heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, and deworming.

Training & Support

When first introduced to other dogs, Hugo became hyper-focused and fixated on them. However, he responded well to his trainers and was able to coexist around other dogs, eventually relaxing and playing with time and training.
