Mabel, an 11-year-old, 70-pound Pit Bull mix, is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Affectionately known as "Big Mama," she's a sturdy and mellow senior who still enjoys her daily walks, car rides, and basking in the sun. Mabel is incredibly sweet and has a wonderful way with children and other dogs.

Her story is one of resilience. After her original owner passed away, Mabel briefly resided in a temporary home but was surrendered when her caretaker developed allergies. Facing the risk of a kill shelter due to her age, she was thankfully rescued and is now searching for a loving home to spend her golden years. Her foster describes her as a "perfect older girl—goofy, loving, and full of warmth."
