If pure joy could grow four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Jay Smiles! This happy-go-lucky little guy is about a year old and 27 pounds, making him the perfect medium-small size for adventures and couch cuddles. Jay truly believes every day is the best day ever, and his infectious enthusiasm is sure to brighten your life. He adores toys and will happily entertain himself with his favorites, but he also loves playing fetch with his people and lounging in the sunshine. A fenced backyard is a must for this energetic pup so he can run, zoom, and explore to his heart's content.
Ideal Home
Jay would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and at least one playful dog companion, as he gains so much confidence and happiness from canine friends. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, so a quieter home without very young children is preferred. Older teenagers could be okay, but Jay generally prefers a more peaceful lifestyle.
Ongoing Health
Jay is healthy and up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Jay is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on leash, knows how to sit, and shares treats well with other dogs. He has excellent social skills and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. He has also met cats and responds well to guidance, but would do best with a dog-savvy cat and another dog in the home. He appreciates a gentle introduction and patience when meeting new people.
