Lazzie is a handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb., black Lab mix with a heart of gold and a story of resilience. He was found in a ditch, alone and suffering from mange and a respiratory infection, but thanks to the rescue, he's now healthy, strong, and ready to find his forever home. Lazzie is a volunteer favorite for his calm, gentle, and quiet nature. He adores lounging and cuddling on the bed with his canine companions and human family. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, currently living harmoniously with a tiny chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. Lazzie has also shown his social butterfly side at adoption events, charming everyone he meets with his sweet demeanor.

Ideal Home

Lazzie would love a home where he can cuddle up with his people and other dogs. He has shown he's comfortable with dogs of various sizes and is likely to be friendly with kids and cats as well.

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He is also eligible for discounted training services with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transportation

Lazzie is located in Houston, Texas. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can take dogs to various locations, potentially across city, county, or state lines. Specific pickup locations and times will vary. We utilize third-party ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport updates.
